The Ukrainian Air Force has released an exclusive first interview with an F-16 fighter pilot, offering insights into combat tactics, precision strikes, and the successful integration of Western military technology.
F-16s Play a Key Role in Defending Ukraine
The anonymous pilot, whose identity remains undisclosed for security reasons, explained that Ukrainian F-16s are carrying out multiple missions daily, striking Russian targets and providing air cover for other aircraft, including MiG-29s, Su-27s, Su-24s, and Su-25s.
“More than 80% of the missiles we launch hit their targets, taking down enemy drones, cruise missiles, and other threats,” the pilot revealed.
Advanced Intelligence and Tactical Strikes
Despite reports questioning Ukraine’s access to intelligence, the pilot emphasized that Ukraine’s reconnaissance teams are highly adaptive and deliver real-time battlefield data.
“We know our targets in advance—our intelligence is working very well. Our strikes are precise and effective, reaching deep into enemy positions,” he said.
Currently, Ukrainian F-16s are focusing on tactical-depth strikes, but their accuracy and efficiency have significantly impacted Russian operations.
“If we wanted, our little missiles could fly right into someone’s window,” the pilot added, highlighting the effectiveness of Ukraine’s air force.
